Winter
Weather
January was a little different… Because truthfully, winter weather kicked our butt.
Just keeping it real
Chapter 01 // January 2026
If you noticed the January newsletter never hit your inbox, this is why. While we had every intention of pressing send, the winter storms across the Southeast had other plans. Our brand team was in the field supporting the response alongside the rest of Safe Industries. When communities call, we go. The work comes first.
Who deployed?
Members of the Safe Industries Emergency Response Team stepped forward to support the effort. Personnel from across the company showed up ready to serve and a shared commitment to getting the job done wherever they were needed most.
What did we do?
We delivered generators, helped power shelters, sourced and moved thousands of pounds of ice melt, secured and distributed hundreds of tire chains, and supported agencies working in severe winter conditions.
Where did we respond?
Operations took place throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Tennessee, supporting municipalities, shelters, and response partners facing hazardous roads and freezing temperatures.
When did this happen?
The response occurred throughout January as winter storms moved across the Southeast, causing travel disruptions, power outages, and increased demand for essential resources.
Why
do we do this
kind of work?
We do this because service is not a slogan for us. It is a standard. The people we serve do not get to choose when the storm hits, when the power fails, or when roads become impassable. They show up anyway. So we do too. Our Emergency Response Team exists to support those who are carrying the weight in their communities, whether that means keeping shelters warm, helping agencies stay operational, or delivering the resources that allow others to keep serving. We believe great equipment matters, but great service matters more. When conditions turn, excuses disappear and responsibility steps forward. This is who we are. Built for others. Ready when it counts.
